Built by people who
hate bad copy-paste.

We've all sent that message and immediately cringed. Tonero exists so you never have to.

The story

It started with a Slack message. I typed "hey can we jump on a call re the thing from yesterday thx" and sent it to the CEO of a potential partner. The meeting never happened.

I couldn't find a tool that lived in the text box itself — not a separate app to open, not a right-click menu buried three levels deep. So I built one, for myself.

After a few weeks of using it every day, I realised other people could use this too. Tonero launched publicly in early 2026 — the same tool I rely on, now available to everyone.

The mission

Help anyone — native or non-native speaker, introverted engineer or extroverted sales rep — communicate with confidence in the tools they already use every day.

What we believe

Speed over ceremony

One click should be enough. We'll never make you open a settings panel to do something simple.

🔒

Privacy by default

Your messages are yours. We process text to produce a rewrite and that's it — nothing is stored or sold.

🤝

Authentic voice

We improve your phrasing — we don't replace your personality. You should still sound like you.

🌍

Inclusive by design

Language barriers are real. Tonero helps non-native speakers communicate on equal footing.

The team

Right now, it's just me. One person who got tired of sending messages that didn't land.
